I'm Jess! Thank you for visiting my portfolio.

I have always loved learning, and that led me to my original path of being a classroom instructor. I spent over 13 years in the high school English classroom. My love of designing instruction has now led me to a new path, and that is one of Instructional Design. I now work as a corporate training specialist.

I excel at taking complex topics and breaking them down into manageable pieces for the audience to learn. I am also passionate about creating real-life, hands-on interactive learning activities for the audience to apply their newly-learned knowledge to in order to simulate how they would use the information gained in training in their actual jobs.
